Costumes! The perils of high heel shoes

Actors, always remember that your choice of shoes can inhibit fluidity in your character! They are often the reason why the scene is tense and not moveable. High heeled shoes tilt the pelvis forward, shortening (or over-arching) the lower back. This movement costs you your voice as your lower back (or abdominal cavity) is one.. read more →
